South Walton considers incorporation with Florida League input
Citizens for South Walton heard Ray Sittig of the Florida League of Cities during a Tuesday meeting. He said incorporation would create a local government to provide needed services like road work and sewage disposal, with tax sharing possible if county levies taxes. Residents warned developers may race to build before incorporation, but Sittig cautioned it would not halt growth.
