License fee plan outlines staged increases by capacity and type
The proposals set base license fees for venues from 25 to 50 with $50 steps to a 300 cap for large seats. Two professional categories under consideration would set level one at 100 and level two at 250. Rentals scale from 25 to 300 as units rise, charter boats may rise to 50, and if a harbor tax is imposed the license fee would drop to avoid double taxation with funds likely directed to waterway projects.
