First Federal Opens Destin Branch in March
The Destin branch of First Federal Savings and Loan of Okaloosa County will open in early March. The 1,600 square foot facility at Air port Road and Main Street has four drive in lanes, with Peggy Threadgill as branch manager. Tinsley notes savings programs checking accounts IRAs and Keoghs and mortgage processing plus an ATM by late summer. Current deposits total 9.5 million and hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Grand opening is expected in late March or early April.

Nordland Joins HSA Gulf Coast Hospital Staff
Marty Nordland has joined the staff of HSA Gulf Coast Hospital in Fort Walton Beach as Assistant Administrator of Operations. A native of Minnesota, he previously served Healthcare Services of America as Associate Director of Clinical Services and Physician Relations. He spent six years in the Air Force and brings about a decade in healthcare. While in Birmingham he belonged to the B Touchdown Club and the Institute of Foods. He is married with two children and now resides in Destin.
