An informant wired with a recording device allegedly purchased marijuana on January 8 and cocaine on January 13 at Black’s home, with money provided by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Department. He is jailed pending arraignment.

Canadian man killed on U S 98 near Okaloosa Island
A 20 year old Canadian man Brant Richard McLean of Ontario was struck and killed at 2 03 a m on U S 98 near the Ramada Inn Okaloosa Island. The driver Cecil Donaldson an investigator with the Okaloosa County Sheriff s Department was eastbound and hit McLean who was walking in the center of the lane. No charges are pending the Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said.
