Drug arrest records enumerate Mike Black case details

Mike Black aged 26 of 119 Sibert Avenue was arrested Sunday on charges of possession and sale of marijuana and cocaine. An informant wired with a recording device allegedly purchased marijuana on January 8 and cocaine on January 13 at Black’s home, with money provided by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Department. He is jailed pending arraignment.

Sidewalks Approved Along U S 98 In City Plan

City Manager Jack Dorman announced Monday that the state Department of Transportation approved a sidewalk project on U S 98 from Gulf Shore Drive to Airport Road. City will fund upfront then seek reimbursement from DOT with an estimated cost of 179,294.

Canadian man killed on U S 98 near Okaloosa Island

A 20 year old Canadian man Brant Richard McLean of Ontario was struck and killed at 2 03 a m on U S 98 near the Ramada Inn Okaloosa Island. The driver Cecil Donaldson an investigator with the Okaloosa County Sheriff s Department was eastbound and hit McLean who was walking in the center of the lane. No charges are pending the Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said.

Destin Fleet Plans Move to East Pass Docking Site
