The president of Okaloose-Walton Junior College Dr J E Ed McCracken will retire after more than two decades guiding OWJC since its 1964 inception The board was informed to allow time for a replacement and the college grew from 767 students to over 10000. The Destin Public Safety Committee backed a plan for a stoplight at Airport Road and Main Street pending dual taxation funds.
