Grand Jury Land Probe Starts Next Week
Walton County Commissioners land purchase for a south county courthouse annex will be examined by a grand jury convening next Thursday. State officials said the inquiry follows a request by Judge Clyde B Wells and clarified there is no indication of wrongdoing. Wells began the probe with a Jan 10 letter to State Attorney Curtis Golden, halting the first payment until the investigation ends.
