Mattie M. Kelly of Destin announced the donation of land near Tom's Bayou for an Arts Park to house the Kelly Center and other arts venues. The project, designed by Kent Cooper, spans 52 acres with a phased build showing a two balcony opera house and flexible theatre, galleries, studios, a restaurant, and parking, aiming for a $10 to $20 million cost and 5000 seats.
