Judge Allocates Over Two Million From Kelly Trust Estate
Okaloosa Circuit Court Judge Erwin Fleet ordered a $2.19 million distribution to Jeanne S. Kelly estate heirs from the $16 million Coleman Kelly Trust, retaining harbor front property. The estate heirs receive 10 parcels totaling 13.5 percent, with parcels including Walton County lands and Airport Road tracts. A rehearing challenge over a 53.52 acre Airport Road parcel has stalled finalization, as auditors note 6.99 acres were conveyed to a third party. Fleet will hear the motion in January and may adjust values from the barrier island parcel. continuation trust terms favor Mattie Kelly with 57.8 percent and Valparaiso Bank 42.19 percent.
