Auburn student builds 16-foot boat in six weeks
Auburn University junior Robert Luttrell aged 20 spent six weeks after class work building his own 16-foot center-console runabout named After Hours. He logged more than 40 hours weekly, often late at night, with help from G S boat works staff Buddy Gentry and Steve Sauer. Luttrell launched at Destin Marina on August 3 and plans to use it for fishing and skiing while balancing studies and family rivalry with Alabama.
