Destin Council Approves Radio Purchases for Public Works

Destin City Council on Monday approved buying three used VHF mobile radios from the Destin Fire Department for up to 1320 dollars to aid daily public works and hurricane response. They also authorized purchasing new radio crystals at about 90 dollars each.

In Okaloosa County during 18 months three people were charged with DUI manslaughter and a fourth with vehicular homicide. One guilty party gets 15 years, others receive five years and 30 months.
