Corps to modify aids as dredging delays loom
Alton Colvin of the Panama City office told Destin Chamber of Commerce that maintenance dredging of East Pass is at least two months away. The Corps plans to adjust navigation aids and relocate the Destin sea buoy to aid boaters. A barge will perform the work next week and dredging near the Rodeo Docks is planned. If permits are approved, the entrance channel will be dredged to 22 feet and the harbor to 14 feet.
