Marshal Ab Parrish defeated Jim Johnson, Recorder J T Crenshaw edged AG Cavaness, and Treasurer GA Franklin ran unopposed. Ward One elected A J Collard and Arthur McDermott. Ward Three chose A J Blanks and J T Freeman. Central Committeemen were Henry Guster Harvey Parnell and Ro Wo Lane.

The Board of Health requires all residents to clean premises from March 1 to March 5 with streets gullets and alleys cleared of rubbish. Rubbish should be placed in receptacles for easy removal. those unable to haul waste may use the city scavenger service before the deadline.
