New War Work Drive Pledges 1500 for War Camp Fund
In Chicot county a campaign to raise 1500 for the War Camp Community Recreation Fund begins this week. Mayor G E Snell of Lake Village is county chairman and Dermott sub committee includes Eli Dante as captain J Pinkus J Cohen J Weisman and H Greenberg. An organizing meeting at Dante’s store Tuesday elected E P Remley chairman and R B Trussell secretary. A main meeting is planned next Tuesday to set Dermott’s quota and plans for fund raising. Public encouragement is urged.
