Fred Hodge age 27 was jailed on assault and battery with intent to murder his wife Mary Hodge who says he tried to kill her with a knife. Evansville Indiana December 4 The Vanderburg county grand jury returned an indictment against a man who used the name Hans Wagner while jailed here charged with obtaining money under false pretenses. Fire damages Browdues garage in Martinsville
A mysterious blaze broke out in John Browdues's garage and buggy works in Martinsville. Firemen arrived quickly but flames spread, causing thousands in damage.
