Deedsville Boy Dies After Accidental Shot Incident

Omer Buck fourteen year old son of Mr and Mrs L B Buck of Deedsville was mortally wounded Thursday while hunting on Sid Hoover farms one mile south of Deedsville. The Winchester was discharged during a rabbit search causing a fatal wound above the collarbone. After hours without a doctor, Dr Fretz and Dr Griswold declared the injuries mortal as he passed away Monday at 8:30 am. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Deedsville AB Church with burial west of town.
