Harry D. Edson a rural mail carrier on route 6 thought he had lumbago. After eleven days off duty a lump appeared on his right shoulder and a physician diagnosed a dislocated shoulder. He recalled a cow kick while grabbing a cow foot to prevent milk spill leading to the ailment. Edson lives near Peru and is related to Den ver residents the Pyles.
A. C. Miller, who has been seriously ill for several weeks, shows slight improvement at this time.
The Knights of Pythias of Peru plan a district meeting in Peru on Wednesday December 14 with prominent knights from Miami County attending. District Deputy CC Branigan Cortez Knight and Hon Roscoe A Heavelin of Marion will be present and Judge Samuel L Strider of Marion will deliver the leading address.
