Indiana Near East Relief outlines Farm Bureau Gift Corn results

The agricultural committee reports 413 carloads of corn and 58883.68 dollars donated in cash for purchasing more corn. Donors are shown that every bushel reached hunger areas in Belgium, Poland, and the Near East. Ten states participated in the Gift Corn drive.

Marriage of Mabel Kinzie and John Kraning at Thanksgiving

Homecoming Letter From Armour Editor Recalls Summer Travel

Armour South Dakota editor writes from Armour on November 18 1921 describing a summer away from the farm and a return to the Denver Tribune. He recalls trips to Lake Andes Greenwood Wagner and Tripp fairs and the Corn Palace at Mitchell and mentions Yankton boosters and expectations for a Missouri River bridge with 19 cars and 100 residents welcoming them.

Lights Spread as Denver Electric Lights Chili

The town celebrated its electric lighting milestone on Friday November 25 as Chili connected to the Wi noka interurban line and home owners began wiring stores and houses. Local investors Meiers Lea Tong Elvin Long and A Cunningham organized the project aiming to light the town by Thanksgiving but a transformer delay slowed progress. Residents are urged to support The Denver Electric Light Power Co and use the service to ensure the venture remains profitable and not a burden.

Revival Meetings Begin at First Brethren Church

Revival meetings at the First Brethren Church began Monday night with strong attendance. Rev H K Epley led a song service and sang a compassionate rendition of I Am a Little Old Fashioned I Know. Pastor Wirick will preach on topics including The Bible's Worst Enemies and The Angels in the Slums with child friendly lessons.

Thanksgiving Dinner Gathered Friends and Family

On Thursday Mr and Mrs Sidney Fuller entertained Mr and Mrs Arthur Warren and daughter Mable Arcella of Roann Mr and Mrs Verne Schroll and children Mildred of Denver and Mr and Mrs Clyde Butt of Chili. A fine dinner prepared by Mother followed, then a hunting trip with bunnies brought back by the men. The group then drove to Rich Valley to visit Mr and Mrs Frank Jones for the evening.
