Local investors Meiers Lea Tong Elvin Long and A Cunningham organized the project aiming to light the town by Thanksgiving but a transformer delay slowed progress. Residents are urged to support The Denver Electric Light Power Co and use the service to ensure the venture remains profitable and not a burden.
