Harrington Youth Killed In Crash
An 18 year old Harrington boy, Robert Marvin Dill, died in a crash on the Felton Greensboro highway near Whiteleysburg Maryland. Harold Melvin 20, was injured and taken to Milford Memorial Hospital after his car collided head on with a truck driven by Joseph Harris 24 of Henderson. Dill a Harrington High School graduate and former star pitcher, lived in Harrington most of his life and worked at the DuPont Nylon plant in Seaford. Melvin a Navy veteran and former Harrington High School baseball player is the son of Elsie Melvin. Funeral services for Dill were held Monday at the Boyer Funeral Home with burial at Hollywood Cemetery.
