Denton Rotary Club plans a Cricknic next Tuesday at the local school grounds with a Delmarvalous Chicken meal. British Embassy coaches from the Commonwealth Cricket Club of Washington, D C, will train players for two Rotary teams captained by Lou Davis and Pogey Reddish. Twenty seven Caroline homemakers toured the DuPont Plant in Seaford Delaware on Thursday August 27. The first educational tour sponsored by the Caroline County Council of Homemakers Clubs featured an illustrative talk on plant layout by the textile department head. They observed nylon and also dacron acetate and rayon yarns being produced and later enjoyed an outing in the DuPont picnic area.

Girl Scout Fund Drive Campaign Opens Soon

Pupil Savings Plan Expands Across County Schools
Four of twelve county schools ran the School Savings Program last year, up three from the year before, with stamps sales totaling 5752 dollars.
