Temleton Sayles and the Purity Pictures Scheme
Kelsey Hare, an architect recovering from a breakdown, meets author Martin Holmes and moves into his estate Holmesholm near Moldaviar New York. Holmes’s novel is rejected in a 15000 dollar Purity Pictures contest run by A Leon Snydacker, who will star the winning debutante. Kelsey buys Holmes's manuscript, adopts the pen name Temleton Sayles, and becomes entangled in the cutthroat beauty contest world as Marion Van Stratten and Gloria Glamour vie for Snydacker's favor at his New York office during a tense test day. The tale blends vanity, power, and the murky glamour of early Hollywood.
