Playtex Friendship Party Opens Social Season
Playtex employees and guests filled the Dover High School social hall on Saturday night to launch the season with the Playtex Friendship Party. Denton Chamber Sets Halloween Plans and Ferry Petition
The Denton Chamber of Commerce met at the Firehouse on September 29 to coordinate Halloween activities with the PTA and Fire Company for local children. A committee led by William Fleetwood was named, and a resolution urged the governor and Maryland State Roads Commission to add an extra Chesapeake Bay Ferry between Sandy Point and Matapeake. The traffic committee's recommendations were adopted, with the next full meeting scheduled for October 27.
