Ridgely Union services were held on Thanksgiving Day at 10 o'clock with Rev. J E Parker preaching. The St Pauls Reformed consistory will meet December 1 after the morning service. Martha Rittenhouse, a Furman Grove Club member and Bridgewater College freshman, is a State winner in the Food Preparation Contest and will travel to the National 4-H Club Congress in Chicago. Revival services run through December 8 at Ridgely Pilgrim Holiness Church with Deborah Hoover as pianist and youth worker. A large 420 pound relief goods gift arrived at Church World Service New Windsor from the Methodist Church and Church of the Brethren for overseas food shortage relief.
