Goldsborough Overrules Objections in Lewis Contempt Case
Federal Judge T Alan Goldsborough ordered John L Lewis to stand trial Wednesday on contempt charges tied to the soft coal strike after overruling UMW and leader objections that the court lacked jurisdiction.
