The Maryland State Goals conference on farm production for 1947 will be at College Park in December. Jos H Blandford State PMA Director and head of the State USDA Council will sponsor the event. Production aims focus on sustaining high commodity output amid demand while reducing other production to peacetime levels. University of Maryland specialists in crops live stock and poultry will aid decisions. Corn loan rates for Maryland farmers are set at 1.28 per bushel for No 3 grade corn, above the national 1.25.
