Man Jailed After Police Serve on Franklin Street
Roland Richardson faced a threats of bodily harm summons served by his wife on Franklin Street. Chief J Tilghman Whitby and Officer Wat son Wessel persuaded him from a .22 rifle holding position after he threatened to shoot. He laid down the rifle, went with officers to Caroline County Jail, posted 250 dollars bail and a Thursday hearing was set.

UNICEF Hallowe'en Party Brings In Over 76 Dollars
Eighty children attended the Trick or Treat UNICEF Hallowe'en Party sponsored by the First Methodist Grace Methodist and Church of the Brethren on Monday evening. In one hour groups of four or five children returned with more than 76 dollars in coins and five dollar bills to aid the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund.

State Police arrested two juveniles after a Friday night spree of damaging multiple cars. G Emory Gottwall reported two fresh vehicles in his garage suffered items ripped off and parts removed. County Red Cross Honors Commissioner Legates
At a County Board meeting in the Court House the Caroline Chapter of the American Red Cross honored Commissioner John Legates for meritorious service.
