Baltimore travelers gain 90 minute link to Ocean City Md through a coordinated plane bus schedule effective Tuesday May 28. Chesapeake Airways president Fred P Adkins announces a tie in with Red Star Motor Coaches, reducing travel time from Baltimore airport to the resort. Shoreliners run 40 minutes with a flag stop at Easton while a Salisbury airport direct bus offers a 50 minute trip, routing via Powellville to Ocean City Boulevard for time savings. Homeward travel will return passengers directly to the planes from Ocean City with three Baltimore flights. A second bus serves the Salisbury bus terminal for flights with transfer options.

OPA Loses Suit Against Roe Firm in Baltimore
A federal court jury in Baltimore dismissed a treble damages and injunction suit by the OPA against U. S. Representative Dudley G. Roe and his two sons, operators of W. D. Roe and Son in Sadlersville, Queen Annes County. The OPA had sought about 6,966 dollars for overcharging on government loan wheat in 1944. The defense argued the ceiling price was 3 cents per bushel and that the CCC exemption applied.

Senator Carter Glass of Virginia, long a banking and monetary policy influence, died in his Mayflower Hotel apartment in Washington on Tuesday at age 88.
