Sugar allotment for home canning in two periods
The Office of Price Administration reports a two period sugar allotment for home canning in 1944. In each period individuals may obtain up to ten pounds of sugar plus five pounds with Sugar Stamp 40 in War Ration Book 4. If not applying in the first period, eligibility rules apply in the second period.
