Maryland Guernsey Breeders Meet Draws 950 Plus Attendees
The Maryland State Guernseys Breeders Meeting in Baltimore on March 11 drew breeders from across the state. Mrs. Arthur L. Mulford outlined 1949 association activities, noting over 950 cattle bought or sold in the year. Seventeen purebred Guernsey heifer calves were given to 4-H and FFA members from the Guernsey Heifer Party at Timonium in January 1949. Caroline County representatives also attended.
