High School Equivalence Examinations Set for April Dates
The State Department of Education announces the next High School Equivalence examinations on Thursday and Friday, April 27 and 28. Adults who left school before graduation may obtain a certificate permitting further study or eligibility for work requiring high school equivalence. Examinations occur in Baltimore and county seats with standard subjects. To apply, submit a blank to 1111 Lexington Building, Baltimore 1, by April 1. candidates must be 19+ and Maryland residents for at least one year, with provisions for armed services members. County Dairymen Plan Dairy Herd Improvement Group Meeting
County dairymen are urged to attend a meeting led by George W Clendaniel county agent on Tuesday March 28 at 8 00 p m in the A A A Office in Denton to organize a Dairy Herd Improvement Association in Caroline County. George Hyatt Extension Dairyman and Thomas Morris tester will be present to discuss plans and help organize. Between twenty and twenty six herds are needed to hire a full time tester and signatures will be collected from interested participants.

State Guard To Train At Ft. Meade
Maryland State Guard to undergo ten days of intensive training at Fort George G. Meade this summer under army officers. More than 2,000 officers and men will participate, with plans developed alongside Adj. Gen. Francis Perrott and Brig. Gen. Dwight H. Mohr. Bendix routs Elkton in Roland Cup semi final
