The Caroline county Orphans Court met in regular session with Judges Towers Handy and Dennis. Scouts Camp At Garland Lake Today
Over 100 Scouts from eight Troops in Talbot Queen Annes and Caroline counties attend the Overnight Scout Encampment at Garland Lake near Denton Friday and Saturday June 19 20. Troops arrive Friday afternoon, hold a Campfire Program with a Court of Honor at 8 15 p m, Saturday features cleanup inspection a recreation program speed ball swimming and a Scouting Field Meet with Patrol Contests in First Aid Carry Relay Scouts Pace Relay Water Boiling Contest and a Flagpole Raising Contest. Tri County Boy Scout Committee sponsors the event with District Chairman T H Chamber Federalsburg. The camp will be directed by Stanley M Woodhead Scout Field Executive and Commissioners W G Rouse Easton and W Ray Tabler Centreville.
