Hartly Youth Jailed For Life For Three Slayings
Hartly youth William A. Nickle, 16, admitted shooting his uncle Charles Brown and two aunts Myrtle Brown and Mary Brown at their Dover, New Jersey home. He received three life terms with hard labor after changing pleas to no contest. He said he killed them to visit his girlfriend and fled to Hartly before arrest.

The Caroline County Commissioners awarded the health center contract to Noble Shively of Goldsboro on June 26. Construction begins within 30 days at Fifth and Franklin Streets, Denton, with main entrance on Franklin Street. Cost is $97,000 for structure, $61,920 including fees. lot bought for $1500 adjacent to donated land. The Health Association led fundraising, with the federal government covering 44 percent of costs.
