Camp Todd near Denton opens Sunday with Mrs. Austin Roberts of Sadlersville as director. Greensboro Streets To Be Widened And Paved
The State Roads Commission will open bids in Baltimore on July 10 for widening and resurfacing 114 miles of Greensboro streets. Work includes Railroad Avenue State Route 314 from the western limits to the Choptank bridge, and Main Street State Route 480 from the southern limits to 675 feet north of Cedar Lane. Both will be widened and resurfaced with bituminous concrete.

Company H of the Caroline County National Guard left Denton at dawn for Camp Pickett Virginia for a 15 day summer field training encampment. During the period the unit will practice 75 millimeter recoilless rifles machine guns and other arms and will bivouac in tents.
