On Monday July 7, the men of Company H received summer equipment from Supply Sgt. Frederick Frank, including boots socks khaki trousers shirt tie and hats and a raincoat. They will receive field jackets fatigue clothing helmets and other items at the next drill. After changing they reported to Lt. Swecker for thirty minutes of close order drill followed by a ten minute rest.
