County aims reversible land easement for roadbed near Denton jail
Denton County officials, after meeting with State Roads Commissioner C Roland Sharretts, seek a reversible easement rather than a fee simple transfer for river embankment land near the county jail along Gay Street extension. The land, swampy and needing fill, would support projected roadbed work and may be returned for jail or parking needs west of the present facility. Sharretts will forward the request to Leslie Evans of the SRC.
