Farmers Plan Big Maryland Convention Program
Maryland farmers prepare for a statewide convention featuring university specialists, crop and horticulture shows, and a 4‑H focus. Highlights include the 45th annual corn and grain show, the 12th Fruit Show, the 17th egg and chick show, and multiple extension talks on pasture, legumes, and tobacco. Farm Bureau events run Sunday through Tuesday with reports, awards, and a banquet headlined by humorist Bob Patton and Governor Lane.
