The Easton Community Concert Association presents Yfrash Neaman, violinist, as soloist in the second 1950-51 concert Friday evening at Easton High School auditorium at 8:30. Neaman, born in Palestine, studied in Paris and London, performed with the London Symphony under Fistoulari, and has since appeared in South Africa, Holland, England, Ireland, and New York.

Infant Found Dead In Denton Home
The six month old Linda Lou Thomas, daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Thomas of West Denton, was found dead in bed last week by her parents. Dr E Paul Knotts of Denton saw the infant at 7 am and ruled natural causes. The case was turned over to county medical examiner George Dawson as usual. Linda Lou was the couple's only child.

The Caroline High School senior class presents a three act comedy titled Cracked Nutts directed by Mrs. Marguerite Mundt. Characters include Miss Drusilla Nutt, Ginger and Peggy Nutt, Mrs. Garfinkle, Prof. Beamish, Magnolia Langsford, the DeWeeses, and others. Complications arise when Drusilla leaves, a hypnotic record misplaces, and couples become entangled before Drusilla returns. Performances are January 8 and 9.

Winter Rally of Easton Boy Scouts Delighted Crowd
The Tri County District Boy Scouts of America will hold its Winter Rally at Easton High School on Friday January 12 1951 starting 730 PM under District Commissioner John Ff Davis with help from Talbot Caroline and Queen Annes Counties Neighborhood Commissioners. Air Scout demonstration by George McClyment and a breeches buoy rescue by Sea Scout Ship 190 led by John Kyle. The Court of Honor will award advancing Scouts and Tenderfoot Investitures will be conducted by Scoutmaster O D Pittinger Troop 152 Tilghman. The event likely ends about 930 PM and invites parents and friends.

Watch Nite Program At Camp Mardela
The Youth Group of the Church of the Brethren held an evening service then traveled to Camp Mardela for a three hour stay ending with a prayer candle lighting service led by Mr. Jerry Fletcher and the pastor around midnight. About 40 attended most of the program and 20 joined the midnight service. a new fireplace with Robert Schall feeding in small logs performed well.

Christmas Tree Ignited by Child With Candle
The Christmas tree at Paul S. Van Dyke's home in Denton caught fire when his young daughter Sarah carried a lighted candle from a pageant. The father sprang the tree from its stand and tossed it outside, saving the house. Draperies caught fire but were put out. no injuries. Smoke damage will require redecorating the home.
