The Orphans’ Court of Caroline County probated the estate of Thomas Haven Chambers a Federalsburg banker and former mayor who died at 91. He left 5000 to American University Washington DC a further 5000 to the Grand Lodge Masons Maryland for the Masonic Home and 2000 to Home for Aged Women of Talbot and Caroline Counties 2500 to Strawbridge Home for Boys 1000 to Hill Crest Cemetery Federalsburg for his father’s grave and 2500 to Kelso Home for Orphans Towson. Remainder to relatives of him and his late wife. He died last week.
