Vital Religion and the Dead Kind of Faith
This devotional piece argues that true religion is vital and expansive, not trapped in trifles or dead ritual. It contrasts Jesus guidance with Pharisaic tradition, urging focus on justice, love, and personal faith, with Bible reading and prayer as life sources.

Eye Accommodation and Presbyopia in Eye Examinations
Eye accommodation lets the eye focus at different distances like a zoom lens. Loss of this ability leads to presbyopia requiring reading glasses with limited range. Regular eye examinations, as advocated by the National Eye Research Foundation, assess overall vision beyond accommodation.
