The Harold Holsinger home on Holly Road between Greensboro and Ridgely was engulfed by a Sunday afternoon fire. Harold, his wife, and children Alan and Myra returned from church to find the upper level ablaze, with fire crews from Ridgely, Greensboro, Goldsboro and Denton responding promptly. Most farm buildings were spared and some downstairs items were saved. the residence and contents were insured.
