Beatrice Sloan Returns to Town for New Year Revenge
Beatrice Sloan, once scorned as the “Sloan girl,” revisits her birthplace on New Year’s Eve. Wealth and success contrast with a past of foster homes and ridicule, until a chance encounter with Jed Smith rekindles warmth and prompts a moral reckoning. The visit ends with a pledge to live by the Golden Rule and seek happiness through kindness.
