Percy Hynson Killed In Crash Near Easton Maryland
Percy O Hynson 75 died Saturday at Memorial Hospital Easton after injuries from a two car collision Friday night at MD Routes 331 and 50 east of Easton. Autopsy in Baltimore followed. police charged Richard Folinsbee with failure to yield and Mrs Hynson with speed greater than reasonable. Hynson was longtime Caroline County resident. survived by wife, daughters Doris Marie Ruth two sons Paul and Leon, plus siblings and many relatives. Services held at Pilgrim Holiness Church Denton. burial in Denton Cemetery.

Fire devastates Seaford tobacco office warehouse
A morning blaze at H. E. Dailey Tobacco Co in Seaford caused about 100000 in damage to the office and warehouse. Four company trucks outside were burned and merchandise was ruined. West Point cadet Reed Barrows sighted the fire and alerted neighbors. Cause tentatively linked to a space heater in the office.

Ridgely Man Hurt In Crash On New Bridge Highway
Thomas H. Lane of Ridgely was injured Saturday night December 28 near Denton when his car skidded off Route 328 on a left curve and overturned twice. Lane, thrown from the vehicle, suffered lacerations to both legs and was taken by Denton Volunteer Fire Co. ambulance to Memorial Hospital Easton. The car was a total loss and Lane was charged with reckless driving. Trooper Donald Weir investigated the accident.
