Forty Maryland farmers depart Baltimore for Chicago to attend the 37th annual American Farm Bureau Convention. Santa Mellits cut his Miami trip short to bring cheer to 1600 children in Denton. He lights the theatre, welcomes Santa on stage, and promises gifts and a parade to the Fire House where fruit and candy are distributed. The Denton Chamber of Commerce and Volunteer Fire Company sponsor the event reaching four churches with apples oranges and candy.

Denton Community Club Hosts Air Defense Program
