Peninsula Horticultural Society Program Announced
Fruit and vegetable growers in the Delmarva area will attend the 60th annual Peninsula Horticultural Society meeting in Dover on December 12 and 13. Officers include Fifer, Balderson, Allen, and Manns. The program features panels on production practices for fruits and vegetables, lectures on new peach varieties, fertilization, spraying, and hybrid vegetables, plus a banquet and discussions on fruit pest control and apple marketing.
