Saw Mill Destroyed By Fire Near Ridgely
A saw mill on Tuckahoe Road about two miles from Ridgely was completely destroyed by a fire of undetermined origin early Wednesday. William Nichols, who lives near the mill, reported the blaze to Ridgely Fire Company. Fire Chief J. K. Snowberger could not estimate the loss, and J. G. Miller of Queen Anne, owner of the mill, could not be reached.

Army engineer McKenna discharged at Fort Meade
McKenna received his Army discharge at Fort Meade on April 12 after arriving from Europe.
