Government Moves To Take Over Loan Wheat In Maryland
Maryland farmers with price support loans on 1951 crop wheat stored in Baltimore and Philadelphia warehouses were told the note due date April 30. If unpaid the government will take over the grain. A later May 15 extension was announced for farm stored grain. A new faster direct loan service for 1952 price support loans will let farmers obtain drafts at county offices or via banks under government lending agreements.
