Fat Hog Show To Be Held April 17
Well over one hundred fat hogs will be shown and later sold at the Queen Anne's County 4-H Club Park near Centreville on Tuesday April 17. The event, in its fifth year, is sponsored by University of Maryland Extension Service and local agricultural groups. Hogs will be weighed and cartagged April 16 at Esskay Buying Station. Weight classes range from light 150-180 to heavy 221-280 pounds, with blue red and white grades and a grand championship for top blues.
