Concord Easter Finery Brightens Small Town Scene
Concord residents dressed in spring hats and colorful outfits for Easter, despite a late snow. Mrs. Florence Love wore an orchid corsage given by her son, while Mrs. Lillian Willey and Lucille Maloney stood out in pink. Pink, blue, and new styles highlighted the town, with children’s frills and boys’ crisp suits. A week of special services at Concord Charge featured Norman McCoy and Rev. Peterson, who offered memorable sermons and a spiritual boost. Congratulations to Wayne Wheatley on his Philadelphia wedding, with the local community planning upcoming events including church activities and community dinners.
