Wheat Reduction Plan To Be Continued In 1934

The AAA wheat reduction program will continue on the same basis for the 1934 crop. More than 24 000 Hoosier wheat growers will receive 29 cents per bushel for reducing the 1934 crop, with 20 cents paid in October 1934 and nine cents in June 1935. A 30 cent per bushel processing tax funds these payments. Seedings for 1935 harvest stay at 85 percent of normal, a 15 percent reduction per contract.
