Delphi Library Sets Release Of Forty Four Books
The Delphi library will release 44 new books on Saturday April 25 with fiction non fiction and juvenile titles on display through the weekend. Harley Raver 56 longtime Camden resident died Friday morning after years of ill health. He is survived by his wife and four daughters, three at home and one in Lafayette. Funeral services were held Sunday at Camden Baptist Church with Rev. Louis Stanger officiating. Burial followed at Paint Creek Cemetery. Trucker Albert Foust Killed When Truck Flips After Skidding
Albert Foust a 41 year old Lafayette trucker and World War II veteran died in a Tuesday morning accident on State road 25 near the S turn east of Delphi after his overloaded truck skidded and overturned during a sharp turn. Dolores Pollock of Lafayette riding with him escaped with minor injuries. Coroner Hubert Gros attributed fatigue and icy pavement as major factors and no inquest will be held. Burial will be in Idaville with an American Legion firing squad.
