Jesse Hess of Diamond Glass suffered a severe thumb wound Thursday afternoon at the Diamond Glass plant. Dr Ury closed the gash with stitches. John McCauley of Jennings and McCauley slipped while closing a rear store window Thursday night, injuring his spine but not seriously.

Death of William McCreath in Cleveland Tragedy
Coroner Zeilestein reports William McCreath died after a wagon run over him in Cleveland. He was taken to a public hospital and died without regaining consciousness. Police traced papers on him to a likely origin in this city. body released to the Cleveland Homeopathic College.

John Johnson, aged 76, a Noble township resident and bachelor with no known relatives, died Thursday morning at his home north of the city. Funeral services were held at the Noble township Union Baptist Church and the remains were interred in Clinker cemetery.

Long illness ends for Hulda Marshall at Clinton Street home
After months of illness Hulda Marshall widow of John Marshall died Friday evening at her Clinton street home. Born Hulda Sapp August 30 1834 in Logan county Ohio she remained a Quaker. She married John Marshall forty years ago and had five children two surviving Charles and Carrie Marshall with Lewis having died thirteen years ago. She lived in this city over thirty years since leaving Wood Kee in 1874. Funeral was Monday at 3 pm at her Clinton street home with Rev Clayton Smucker officiating. buried Riverside cemetery. Her sister Mrs John Cowgell of North Lewisburg Ohio also survives.
